Waverly Industrial Rehab (WIR) is a partnership between Taylor Physical Therapy and Summit Industrial Medicine dedicated to serving the workforce of Northeast Iowa. By uniting medical, rehabilitative, and wellness providers in one facility, we enhance continuity of care and streamline communication that can not be matched elsewhere in Northeast Iowa. WIR houses a uniquely designed rehabilitation gym with state-of-the-art job simulating equipment to meet the physical demands of the workplace. With the ability to offer same day appointments, Waverly Industrial Rehab is equipped to meet all of your occupational health and wellness needs to minimize workforce absence and maximize recovery.

Rehabilitative & Wellness Services
Providing care for the industrial injury requires a distinct skill set. From communicating with providers and case managers to designing therapy exercises that replicate the demands of a job, every detail counts. The physical therapists, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers at Waverly Industrial Rehab not only have specialized training to meet these particular needs, but are passionate about going above and beyond to be an integrated part of the workman's compensation care team.

Occupational Medicine Services
Dr. Jon Fields is a graduate of the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and is Board Certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and went on to graduate from the University of Iowa Occupational Residency Program. Prior to his medical career, he has over 10 years of experience in engineering roles. In addition to his unique skillset, Dr. Fields has a business background with experience in the corporate care setting, facilitating his ability to meet the specific needs of employers and employees. He spent six years as a staff physician in Occupational Medicine, servicing patients throughout the Cedar Valley and northern Iowa. He is also a certified Medical Review Officer (MRO), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Medical Examiner and Senior Federal Aviation Medical Examiner. His specific clinical interests include sports medicine and worksite injury prevention.
